Hi, my name is Ben Coyour. I’m a follower of Christ, a husband, and a father of six. I’m walking this beautiful and sometimes messy journey of life right alongside you.
I don’t pretend to have it all figured out. As someone in my 40s, I know I’m still growing every day, especially in my relationship with the Lord. My hope here is simple: to share practical wisdom from my own experiences (and from the wisdom of others) in a way that can bring you real help and real hope.
Think of this space like going out to lunch with a close friend. We swap stories, encourage each other, and walk away reminded we’re not alone. That’s the heart of what I want this site to be.
The real motivation began when my kids were young. I love them deeply, and I wanted to be the best father I could possibly be. But I also knew something important: no matter how hard I tried, I would always be imperfect. That realization shifted my mission.
My heart became focused on pointing them back to their perfect Father through Jesus. That’s not just a nice sentiment or cliche; it truly became the core of how my wife and I raise our children.
Being a dad to six amazing children has reshaped how I see everything: how I spend my time, what I value most, and the kind of legacy I want to leave behind.
That is a question I try and ask myself daily. I invite you to do the same.

I believe we all need to live with the sobering reality that we’re not guaranteed tomorrow. That truth presses us to wrestle with life’s deepest questions: Why am I here? What is my purpose? Is there a God? Where is all of this going?
I hope you’ve taken time to think about those questions, because I know I have. And as I share help and hope for everyday life, I can’t separate that from the source I’ve found, the One who anchors both this life and the life to come. For me, that hope is only found in Jesus.
Now, if you’re not a Christian, please know I’m not here to cram anything down your throat. I’m simply sharing what I genuinely believe and inviting you to explore along with me. And if you are a Christian, then I want to extend a hand to you too, because this journey of growing more like Christ is a lifelong process we’re all walking together.
